Our network installs garage floor coatings throughout Athens and the surrounding communities in McMinn County. Call us if you are unsure whether your location is in our service area.

Athens sits in McMinn County in Southeast Tennessee, in the Ridge-and-Valley province between Chattanooga and Knoxville, on a mix of valley clay and rockier upland soil typical of the region. The city's historic downtown and surrounding older neighborhoods have a solid stock of early-1900s homes with detached garages on original pours, reflecting Athens's long history as a county seat and rail town, while newer residential growth has followed the I-75 corridor that runs through the county. Southeast Tennessee's mountain-influenced climate brings sharper freeze-thaw cycling than the state's western regions, and the valley terrain around Athens concentrates runoff into low-lying areas after heavy rain the way much of the Ridge-and-Valley province does. Older McMinn County garages built before modern vapor barriers were standard, combined with that freeze-thaw exposure, are a common source of the cracking and coating failure homeowners here run into.
